Exodus 40:1-8 God tells Moses when and how to set up the tabernacle with its accessories. Exodus 40:9-11 God tells Moses to sanctify the tabernacle with its accessories using the anointing oil. Exodus 40:12-15 God tells Moses to sanctify Aaron and his sons using the anointing oil.

Exodus 34:1-3 God tells Moses to cut out two new stone tables and come up the mountain again and alone. Exodus 34:4 Moses did what he was told. Exodus 34:5-7 God proclaims the Name of the Lord to Moses and shows the back side of Himself to Moses.

Exodus 33:1-3 God tells Moses and Israelites to leave and follow His Angel instead, so God wouldn’t have to kill them all. Exodus 33:4-6 Israelites repent. Exodus 33:7-11 Israelites saw the personal relationship between God and Moses.
