Notes for Luke Chapter 20

Jesus encouraged to pay taxes to government and tithes to God which for some reason surprised the priests, scribes, and elders.

Luke 20:1-8
Some priests, scribes, and elders questioned Jesus’ authority so He questioned them about John the Baptist.

Luke 20:9-19
Jesus’ parable about the wicked husbandmen (or gardeners, or farmers) which were referred to the priests and scribes.

Luke 20:20-26
The priests and the scribes got an unexpected answer from Jesus which encouraged people to pay taxes and tithes.

Luke 20:27-40
Jesus explained to Sadducees that there is NO marriages (or married life) in heaven and that the resurrection is a fact.

Luke 20:41-47
Jesus confused some very educated scribes with a question about His relationship to David, then Jesus Christ publicly warned His disciples about the fake and prideful lifestyle of some religious people.


Vladimir Yasmenko is just a dude that Loves God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). In these Bible Notes Vladimir just wants to share his opinion and knowledge on certain places in the Bible. So, that means, do Not take his opinion as a Fact, only the Holy Bible is The Fact. That is why you should read your own Bible, so you would know what is truth and why people believe what they believe.
