Notes for Matthew Chapter 27

Crucifixion of Jesus Christ Son of God.

Matthew 27:1-2
Jesus got taken to Pontius Pilate the governor.

Matthew 27:3-5
Judas Iscariot repented and returned the money, but then he still hung himself.

Matthew 27:6-10
Just as it was prophesied, the priests took the returned 30 silver pieces by Judas and bought the potter’s field for burial.

Matthew 27:11-34
The accusations, sentencing, beating, and mocking of innocent Jesus Christ.

Matthew 27:35-56
The Crucifixion, the mocking, and the death of Jesus Christ Son of God.

Matthew 27:57-66
The burial of Jesus in the tomb of Joseph – a rich man of Arimathea.
