Notes for Matthew Chapter 20

Vineyard workers getting paid.

Matthew 20:1-16
Jesus explained and compared how the kingdom of heaven is similar to the owner of a vineyard who hired some workers.

Matthew 20:17-19
Jesus reminds His disciples again about His death and resurrection on the 3rd day.

Matthew 20:20-28
The mother of Zebedee brothers (James and John) asked Jesus to let her sons sit by His right and left sides (or hands) in His kingdom, but Jesus explained that it’s up to His Father to decide, instead Jesus encouraged His disciples to be ministers (or servers) of people and not rulers of people.

Matthew 20:29-34
Jesus healed two blind men as He departed from Jericho.
