Notes for 2nd Chronicles Chapter 20

Praising singers before Jehoshaphat's army.

God defeated the Moabites, Ammonites, and people of Seir before Jehoshaphat king of Judah.

2nd Chronicles 20:1-2
Jehoshaphat got notified about a huge army of Moabites, Ammonites, and of other nations coming against him.

2nd Chronicles 20:3-4
Jehoshaphat and his people turned to God for help and support.

2nd Chronicles 20:5-12
Jehoshaphat’s prayer for deliverance.

2nd Chronicles 20:13-17
Through Jahaziel a Levite, God informed Jehoshaphat and his people that He will help them and protect them.

2nd Chronicles 20:18-19
Jehoshaphat and his people thanked and praised the Lord.

2nd Chronicles 20:20-21
Jehoshaphat encouraged his people to trust the Lord, and then he set praising singers before his army.

2nd Chronicles 20:22-28
God’s miraculous deliverance, huge spoil, and a great triumph.

2nd Chronicles 20:29-34
Jehoshaphat reigned mostly good for 25 years over Judah, and God blessed him, protected him, and made him famous.

2nd Chronicles 20:35-37
In his last days, Jehoshaphat joined with another wicked king, Ahaziah, so God didn’t bless their plans and their partnership.
