Notes for 2nd Kings Chapter 19

185,000 soldiers from Sennacherib's army got destroyed by God's angel because of his pride.

2nd Kings 19:1-5
After Hezekiah heard Rabshakeh’s (Assyrian king’s servant) message, he humbly sent some messengers to Isaiah to find out God’s word regarding this issue.

2nd Kings 19:6-7
God’s prophecy against an Assyrian king (Sennacherib).

2nd Kings 19:8-13
Sennacherib’s prideful letter to Hezekiah.

2nd Kings 19:14-19
Hezekiah’s prayer to God for deliverance from Assyrians.

2nd Kings 19:20-34
God’s prophecy through Isaiah against that prideful Sennacherib king of Assyria, and God’s mirracle for Hezekiah.

2nd Kings 19:35-37
God’s angel killed 185,000 of Assyrian soldiers and Sennacherib got killed by his own two sons while he was worshipping his useless idol.
